Engaging activities
Our program provides a mix of structured activities and free play/exploration, with opportunities for homework and reading, crafts, outdoor play, indoor games, computer activities, fun projects, movies, and more!
Social skills development
Our program promotes cooperation, support, and respect. This can help kids feel more secure about joining a game or starting a conversation. Our sympathetic teachers are on hand to guide kids through social encounters when needed.
Confidence building
Since the Extended Day environment feels relaxed and more forgiving than school - the stakes may not feel as high - kids may be more willing to try new things and take more positive risks. This, in turn, can lead to higher self-esteem.
Sense of belonging
Our on-campus program is a nice way for your child to connect with peers in a new setting. Kids in afterschool programs are more likely to be included and feel like they're part of a group.
Positive supervision
Our staff are passionate about providing a nurturing, fun, and safe atmosphere for your children. Keeping students supervised and productively engaged reduces their chances of getting involved in risky behaviors, in which older kids are more likely to participate during afterschool hours.
Education enhancement
Program's proceeds go directly to your local school and enhance the quality of your own children's instruction.

We accept personal checks written to VRA. Please make sure to include the following:
- Student Name
- Cell Phone #
- Alternative Phone #
**We will not be able to accept checks that do not meet these requirements**

Enrichment Add-Ons
We partner with trusted local businesses to provide
ALL Valley Ridge Academy students
with the choice to sign up for on-site extended learning opportunities and fun activities.

Schedule Changes
Whether you’d like to:
- Adjust your student’s attendance schedule,
- Switch your Care Plan, or
- Disenroll your student from the Program,
we ask that you notify our office with as much lead time as possible via email:

This will help us accommodate other children on a waiting list for an available opening.
