Students use Clever to access Schoology, Microsoft 365, and other links for students. For online textbooks, students in grades K-5 use Clever and students in grades 6-8 use Schoology. Parents use ParentSquare for school communication and Schoology to keep track of schoolwork.

SPIRIDAYS AT VRA!

 We will have special themed spirit days on each Wednesday of the month! Check out this month’s calendar below. Friday’s are “Wear your VRA spirit wear or school colors.”

Are you new to VRA?  We welcome you to take a tour around the school to visit various areas and classrooms.  

Dismissal Changes

We accept dismissal changes up until 2:15 PM every day except Wednesdays. 1:15 PM is the deadline on Wednesdays.  

*Only one dismissal change per day per family will be allowed.*

Early Checkouts

We accept early checkouts until 2:15pm everyday except Wednesday. 1:15pm is the deadline on Wednesday. You do not need to submit a dismissal change form for an early checkout. Please show your valid ID to the front office when checking your child out early. 

 

 
Reporting a Student Absence

Entering Campus and Signing In

All parents, visitors and volunteers MUST be cleared through the School
Access system in order to be allowed on campus during school hours for
volunteering, a meeting or an event
NO EXCEPTIONS.

PLEASE take the time now to fill out the application using the link below. The clearance lasts for 3 years.

Approval typically takes 4-6 weeks.

Volunteer Services – St. Johns County School District (stjohns.k12.fl.us)

There are Kiosks in the Front Office where you will sign yourself into School Access when coming onto campus.

PLEASE scan your Driver’s License to sign in and follow prompts. Proceed to the front office desk and the staff will provide you with a yellow badge to wear at all times when you are on school grounds. You will need to show your driver’s license.

Forgotten Item Policy

We are happy to place any forgotten items from home in the teacher’s mailbox. Students are responsible for bringing any necessary materials to school (examples are homework, classwork, binders, treats, gym uniforms and sneakers etc). Classes will not be interrupted. The only exception to this rule is lunch or lunch money. We will not call students to the office for any other item.

FortifyFL

FortifyFL is a mobile app and web-based tool that allows students, parents, and community members in Florida to anonymously report suspicious activities, potential threats, or safety concerns related to schools. The app immediately forwards these reports to appropriate law enforcement agencies and school officials for rapid response.

School Access

School access (proceeding past the front office of any school) is required for every individual that is not a staff member of the St. Johns County School District.  This is done through completion of the district’s volunteer application. School access is good for 3 years. For help completing the online application, please call (904) 547-3945.

2025-2026 Bus Schedules

Families who have not yet logged in to the BusPlanner website or the Chipmunk app are strongly encouraged to create an account before the start of the new school year. This will help ensure that you are able to access your child’s 2025-2026 bus schedule when schedules are released during the last week of July 2025.
