Being a child today is tough. Whether its in academics, sports, or social circles, the pressures and competition put on our young ones are difficult to deny. Children as young as 1st grade are being asked what they want to be when the grow up, middle schoolers compete for academies, and the pressures to get into the “best” colleges (but don’t stress about it) abound. Likewise, parents are overwhelmed making sure they do everything “right” for their children. In this presentation, Dr. Abigail Levrini will teach families how to foster grit and avoid drowning in the myriad of obstacles found in today’s society. How to identify and deal with anxiety, learning from mistakes, and how to achieve happiness, will be among the questions she will answer.
