{"id":2,"date":"2015-06-15T10:03:36","date_gmt":"2015-06-15T14:03:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www-vra.stjohns.k12.fl.us\/registration\/?page_id=2"},"modified":"2025-08-12T08:13:11","modified_gmt":"2025-08-12T12:13:11","slug":"sample-page","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www-vra.stjohns.k12.fl.us\/registration\/","title":{"rendered":"Registration Information"},"content":{"rendered":"\t\t<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-page\" data-elementor-id=\"2\" class=\"elementor elementor-2\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-43e08bf1 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"43e08bf1\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-15693c0b\" data-id=\"15693c0b\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2e517d7f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2e517d7f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"entry-content\" style=\"color: #333333\"><h1><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Welcome to the Ridge!<\/strong><\/span><\/h1><p>You will be using the district\u2019s Online Registration system to register your child.\u00a0 You\u00a0<b>MUST be a St. Johns County resident<\/b>\u00a0and live in the VRA zone to register your child for VRA.\u00a0\u00a0<b>Residency is defined as \u201cresiding in your home\u201d and the residency documents required by the district must be uploaded at the time you are registering your child in the Online Registration.\u00a0 <\/b>This means you must have closed on your home or have a lease that has started prior to registering your child.\u00a0 You will be asked for those mandatory items when you are navigating through the online screens.\u00a0 You can complete the Online Registration using any smart phone, tablet, device, or computer.<\/p><p>Please review the list of mandatory documents in the following paragraphs in preparation for starting the Online Registration.<\/p><h2 style=\"text-align: center\"><strong>KINDERGARTEN AND NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION FOR 2025-2026<\/strong><\/h2><p>The St. Johns County School District (SJCSD) will begin registration for the 2025-2026 school year on March 1. <b>This registration is only for children new to the school district, including those entering kindergarten.<\/b><\/p><p>Early registration must be completed online at\u00a0<a class=\"docs-creator\" href=\"http:\/\/www.stjohns.k12.fl.us\/student\/enrollment\">www.stjohns.k12.fl.us\/student\/enrollment<\/a>.To find the assigned school, enter your street address on the Attendance Zone Locator at\u00a0<a class=\"docs-creator\" href=\"http:\/\/www.stjohns.k12.fl.us\/zoning\/\">www.stjohns.k12.fl.us\/zoning\/<\/a>.<\/p><p>To be eligible for public kindergarten in the SJCSD, children must be 5 years old on or before September 1 and must reside in St. Johns County.<\/p><p>Other requirements for registration:<\/p><ul><li>Birth certificate\/Guardianship Documents<\/li><li>Documentation of a health examination performed within one year of enrollment<\/li><li>Proof of completed required immunizations on Form DH680<\/li><li>Proof of residence per the Residency and Guardianship Policy located at\u00a0<a class=\"docs-creator\" href=\"https:\/\/www.stjohns.k12.fl.us\/student\/residency\/\">www.stjohns.k12.fl.us\/student\/residency\/<\/a><\/li><\/ul><div style=\"text-align: center\">\u00a0<\/div><p>Students who are currently enrolled in a St Johns County School do not need to re-enroll. Returning Student Verification information will be sent out later this Spring. This enrollment is only for students NEW to St. Johns County Schools, including those who will be entering Kindergarten and those who have been enrolled in FLVS full time.<\/p><h4 style=\"text-align: center\">If you have any questions for\u00a0<strong>grades<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>K-3 registration<\/strong>, please contact Diana Schoolfield at Diana.Schoolfield@stjohns.k12.fl.us<br \/>If you have questions for\u00a0<strong>grades 4-8<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>registration<\/strong>, please contact Joy Calvo at Joycelynn.Calvo@stjohns.k12.fl.us<\/h4><p><strong>Here is the list of mandatory documents needed for Registration<\/strong>:<\/p><ul><li>Three proofs of residency (Mortgage Statement or lease agreement, utility bill, and one more bill)<\/li><li>Original Birth Certificate \u2013 Child must turn 5 on or before September 1<sup>st<\/sup>.<\/li><li>Completed Florida Immunization form 680 (out of state immunizations must be transferred to FL form)<\/li><li>Physical must be dated within one year of the date of enrollment and can be a physical from any state<\/li><li>Driver\u2019s License for identification purposes only<\/li><li>Copy of latest report card confirming grade placement and, if applicable, promotion<\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"color: #993300\"><strong>Attention all 6<sup>th<\/sup> graders!!<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p>The Tdap immunization shot is required for all 7th graders and must be recorded on a Florida 680 form.
